DOVELO is free to read. We earn money through affiliate links, occasional clearly labelled sponsorships, and products we make ourselves. None of these decide what we recommend.
Affiliate links
Some links to products and services are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, the seller may pay us a commission. The price you pay stays the same.
We label affiliate links where they appear, next to the link, not hidden in a footer.
Sponsorships
From time to time a company may pay to sponsor a newsletter issue or an article. Sponsored content is marked “Sponsored†at the top. Sponsors don't review or approve our editorial content, and sponsoring something doesn't buy a place in our reviews or rankings.
Our own products
DOVELO also sells digital products such as templates and toolkits. When we mention one of our own products, we say it's ours.
Editorial independence
- We test products on real work before recommending them.
- We recommend products we earn nothing from when they're the better choice.
- Companies can't pay to change a review, a score or a ranking.
- If we receive a product for free, we say so in the review.
