This policy is a starting template. Bracketed details must be completed and the whole document reviewed for the laws that apply to you before launch.

Who we are

DOVELO (“DOVELO”, “we”, “us”) is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect as little as we can to run the site well.

  • Information you give us: your email address when you subscribe to the DOVELO letter, and anything you include when you contact us.
  • Usage information: pages visited, referring site, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type.
  • Purchase information: if you buy a DOVELO product, our payment provider processes your payment details. We receive order details but never your full card number.

How we use it

  • To send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else unless you opt in.
  • To answer your messages and provide products you purchase.
  • To understand which content is useful so we can improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & analytics

We use [ANALYTICS PROVIDER] to measure traffic. [Describe whether it uses cookies, and how visitors can consent or opt out where required.]

Affiliate links

Some links to products are affiliate links. When you follow one, the retailer may set its own cookies to record that you came from DOVELO. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's privacy policy. We label affiliate links next to the link itself.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run DOVELO, such as our email platform ([EMAIL PROVIDER]), hosting ([HOST]) and payments ([PAYMENT PROVIDER]), and only as far as they need it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Retention

We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and other information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in every message. To make any other request, contact us below.
